Cata Mundaca

In my house there are many people as animals, yes! each one of us have their own pet so in my house there are five people, so we have three dogs and recently a little hamster. My mom is the only one who doesn't have a pet because she is scared of all animals. My beautiful pet, that I absolutely love, is my dog named Auka. He is two years old and is the cuddliest dog I have ever known, and I have had like 10 dogs in my life. I got him from a friend, she lived in Rancagua and her dog had puppies, but her family couldn't stay with all of them. In that time I did´t have a dog because, mine  had died the year before so I asked my mom If I could have a puppy and she told me if I got all my subjects at university with a good mark I could bring a puppy to the house. Everything aligned so one day I came, after school,  with this little puppy of one month old. The first days I had to sleep with him because he was so little that he started to cried if he stayed alone in...

In this blog i would like to talk about women's rights, because is a subject that even though, now a days, is one of the most popular subjects all around the world, still is a big deb in our country.  I know that Chile is not a country where women's rights is too late but that doesn't mean that there is not work to do. We still have laws were the wife depends of the husband, like the law of conjugal community.  This law established that if the women wants to start economic activities like a business she needs the consent of the men.    Other item in that as a society has to work is street harassment, is not possible that we, as women's have to dress thinking if is too short or too tight to go in metro or bus. Is time to understand that women's can decide everything in their lives, about their bodys, their finances, their clothes absolute everything. If mens are not restricted in any way, why women's are?

I may be a lucky girl, because i have won a lot of tickets to concerts, and it´s not like I try supper hard. The last tickets i won was to see to The Rolling Stones in the only visit they have made to Chile, this was around three years ago in February, midsummer, in the Estadio Nacional. I remember that i was a really looking forward to the concert, because The Rolling stones is one of the oldest rock bands in the history of music, and it´s band members are really old so probably it´s the only time that they would be visiting our country.    That day I get up early because part of the price was to enter first to the venue, but I had to wait all day long under the sunlight. When they started I sing and dance until they finish, as we can expect from one of the biggest bands in the world the spectacle was full of lights and special effects, but the real sow was to see 70 years old Mick Jagger dance around as he was 17.

I´ve never been out of the country so it's always been a dream, in fact, traveling is one of the main reasons why I decided to study journalism. The possibility of getting to know different cultures by submerging in the place and relating to the people is something that has always captured my attention. I really would like to visit as many places as I can, but the first country I want to visit out of Chile is Perú. This country, of course, is one of the popular tourist destination in Latin America because of Machu Picchu. Just the mysticism of this antique city attracts me and  I want to visit as soon as possible because constantly rumors come up of the close of Machu Picchu because of the damage of the structure. I would like to go as a tourist, but also I would like to have the opportunity to go as a photojournalist and photograph the people, the nature, the architecture and the culture.
